Sneak Peak for March

I've been a busy bee scraping away with SFAC March kit! I love all the colors!! They go so well together! Come on over and check out with the rest of the design team has crafted! In other news, the trees have started to bloom which means spring is coming! I'm so excited! On my drive to work there are thousands of nut trees! I must bring my camera for a few shots before the bloom goes away!

Tomorrow I have to work, which is slightly wearing me thin. There are tough days and there are good days. I do have to say that all n' all, I'm enjoying my new job. Working weekends is hard just because I don't feel rested when I go back on Monday! Yet, I am soo thankful to have this job and it be as good as it is. I have had employees that have been making poor decisions lately that cost them their jobs and in this ecomonic time, I wonder why their decisions are not smarter. I have to swallow hard everyday when I have a pile an inch thick of new applicants. It hurts knowing that I cannot offer everyone a chance.

Anyway, I wish everyone a fabulous weekend! oh, I'm so excited for Easter to arrive! Still at 24 years of age, I love painting eggs! *giggle*

Gabby's Grind

Not this weekend, but the weekend before (a little behind on the blogging), I went home to visit my madre and the boys! My mom just opened her very own COFFEE SHOP!!! So...if you are in the Brentwood area, stop by Gabby's Grind for a cup of Mocha (my favorite). It's downtown...and yummy. Here is Julian, posing! isn't he adorable?
My Grams, me and My Cuz Rox. We are all beat of washing dishes and cleaning. My mom slapped the whip on us!
Julian LOVES taking photos, we posed for a good twenty minutes, making faces :)

I scrapped a page with the photos:
I'm working on another...hehe.
thanks for stopping by!

Desperate Edible Birds

I suck. It's been how many days/wks since I've blogged? no, don't tell me.
So, 2 weekends ago, Jake and I travelled to Oakland to spend the day with his family. His cousin had a scheduled book reading and we went as her biggest supporters.

Lauren Groff - Desperate Edible Birds
She just released her second book and is on tour. She also wrote Monsters of Templeton. SO talented! here are some photos!

On another note, here are some layouts I completed with Scrap for a Cure's Feb kit. A MUST HAVE! great kit.
I have more pictures to share from this weekend home! I'll have to load those soon! Thanks for stopping by!
