Croppin' fun!

Today, I went online to do my daily scrapbooking sites stalking, when I fell upon create my keepsake crop! I had no idea! I was completely out of the loop! haha I'm oblivious a lot of the time! So it was 5PM and I was ready to scrap! I was able to complete 2 layouts! I was too excited! It was such a nice break from writing my thesis and working at school...

This layout was inspired by Leslie Ashe. It was her 4PM challenge about creating a layout around song lyrics! I picked this song that I'm digging by Josh Abbott Band (I am slightly obsessed with this group...I know, it is a little scarey). It is called electric skies. It is a beautiful love song about how with that one person, you love to do anything with them - even watch rain fall. My person is my bf. totally mushy. how cute is he!??!?!?! Our completely candid shot in Las Vegas.
This layout was inspired by Staci Taylor. Her challenge was to scrap a hobby. My new hobby is skiing! I'm still taking kiddie lessons, but I'm enjoying the sport hard core. I can't wait until the first snow fall! Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Boy!

Goals!!!

I got this idea from my professor at TTU. He told me that goals were hardly accomplished unless I write them down. SO...5 goals I have for myself to complete in the next year!

1. GRADUATE! finish writing my thesis by December (and pass my defense!)
2. Finish reading Janet Evanovich series (6 more books to go)
3. Buy a HOUSE! OH I WANT!
4. Experience 12 new places! and journal about them!
5. Buy a new camera! (one that isn't in two pieces!)

Wedding right out of a magazine!

I just got back from California. The wedding was just BEAUTIFUL! It was at a ranch with an older barn where the wedding part took place. It over looked a beautiful garden, almond trees and grapes. My friend thought she was a real cowgirl because she had to watch for rattle snakes! *giggle* It really was just a dream! Leslie had a beautiful dress on that made her look like a princess. After it all was over, we all stayed at Cache Creek casino where Jake lost $7. All in all it was a good weekend! I had a blast spending time with my old friends and their family.

*screaming* I get to see my best buddies in a little less than 5 hours! I'm so excited!!!! I'm flying to California to see Leslie (left) get married! weddings are so much fun! I can hardly contain myself!

Anyway, I'm going to come back and post fabulous pictures from it all! *screaming* count down has begun!

some funness!

I made a couple layouts this weekend! this one I did of my lil bro's 2nd birthday! I scraplifted Danielle's layout. I designed this for round 2 over at scrap for a cure. Wish me luck!!
I did this one too. I need to explain it first though...my lil brother J sent me this picture of a "hot dog" he drew! He knows how much I love hot dogs! I thought it was adorable! So, I made a layout about his drawing :) I thought I should explain, in case the drawing threw ya'll off! *giggle* what a little artist!
